Download your CUL before ordering
The Ministry of Labor issues the CUL free of charge through its official service. Download your certificate and send us the full, unedited PDF. The US$50 price is for our legalization and apostille service, not a government charge for generating the CUL.
What the certificate contains
The CUL brings together information available in public records on identity, criminal, police and judicial background, education and formal employment. It does not add jobs missing from those records or replace a separate certificate specifically requested by a foreign authority.
Paper apostille, PDF scan and delivery
Our service follows the physical legalization and apostille route. The PDF we send is a scan of that completed document, not an electronic apostille. You can collect the original in Lima by arrangement or request courier delivery at an additional cost.
The service takes up to 2 business days, counted from the business day after we receive the complete document and confirm it is ready to process. Courier transit is separate.
PDF or original: tell us what you need
The service includes a scanned PDF sent by email or WhatsApp. If the receiving institution needs the paper original, we can arrange DHL or FedEx shipping, or collection at our Lima office. We confirm courier cost and delivery estimates for your address before dispatch.
An apostille authenticates the signature and capacity of the official who signed the document. It does not guarantee approval of an application. The recipient decides which document, translation and format it accepts. Where the Apostille Convention does not apply, ask us about the legalization route.

Do you obtain the CUL for me?
You download your current CUL from the official Empleos Perú service and send us the PDF. We handle its legalization and apostille.
What does US$50 include?
Review, MTPE legalization, the apostille in Peru and scanned PDF delivery. Courier delivery and translation are separate.
Can I use the CUL instead of a criminal record certificate?
Only if the receiving institution agrees. If it explicitly asks for a separate criminal record certificate, do not assume the CUL will replace it.
